Featuring Local Wines
In our aspiration to establish and maintain a local feel, we searched throughout the Placer Foothils looking for the right wines and varietals. We found a rich assortment of local wines from Placer County and the Sierra Foothills that compliment and pair wonderfully with our authentic Thai cuisine. Try the Calotte Blanc, offered by Casque Wines, Loomis, a superb blend that pairs extremely well with all of our dishes, the Voignier from Lone Buffalo Vineyards, Auburn is an exceptional wine, and the Syrah or Cabernet made by Green Family Winery, Auburn is great just to sip.

white wines
Casque Wines (Loomis) 2008 Viognier - This vintage displays a pale green-gold color in the glass, while on the nose, it displays complex aromas of peach, apricot, with hints of melon and honeysuckle. Crisp and dry in the mouth, it's round with no sharp edges, and is balanced by intriguing notes of crushed rock and melon, which lingers long on the finish. It pairs well with our signature spicy dishes.
Lone Buffalo Vineyards (Auburn) 2008 Viognier - A Rhone-style white wine with fresh, yet complex floral aromas. The flavors of peach and apricot help give this dry wine the creamy mouth-feel Chardonay. This pairs well with our fish and chicken dishes.
Casque Wines (Loomis) 2008 Calotte Blanc: 35% Viognier, 30% Roussanne, 25% Vermentino, 10% Marsanne. The 2008 Calotte Blanc displays pale green apple and gold colors in the glass. On the nose, the wine displays complex aromas of peach, apricot, citrus leaf and lime. These pick up additional notes of spice, honey, melon and green apple on the mouth, all of which are framed and balanced by a blanket of minerality on the finish. This superb wine is great with every dish on our menu and highly recommended.
Pescatore Vineyards (Newcastle) 2008 Chardonnay - This wine addresses you with fresh fruit that blends with flavors of apricot, pear, and pineapple. It has just a hint of spice and ends with a nice soft buttery finish.
Pescatore Vineyards (Newcastle) 2008 Saunignon Blanc - This wine is crisp, with a hint of grapefruit, and goes well with our Thai Salads, seafood, and chicken. Its long, citrus finish lingers pleasantly on the palate.
red wines
Green Family Winery (Auburn) 2004 Cabernet - A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon 76% and Cabernet Franc 24%. Deep dark Ruby color, with scents of cassis and dark fruit. Very mellow, with smooth tannins and a long rich finish.
Casque Wines (Loomis) 2007 Calotte - This wine blends the spicy red fruit of Grenache with the richer, more fuller structured berry flavors of Syrah. It is barrel-aged for 21 months in a combination of French and Hungarian oak barrels, and can be enjoyed with any of our dishes.
Lone Buffalo Vineyards (Auburn) 2007 Where the Buffalo Roam - This fabulous red wine was produced from Syrah, Mourvedre, and Grenache grapes grown in here Placer County. Its concentrated lively fruit and silky tannins, deep with a hint of spice, is elegant, and easy to drink.
Green Family Winery (Auburn) Syrah, 2004 This wine pairs well with our sauces. Syrah is a grape that loves the Sierra Foothills. This wine is dark, rich and elegant, with scents of spices, jasmine and cedar. It has smooth tannins and a long tasty finish. A must-drink wine!
Pescatore Vineyards (Newcastle) 2007 Zinfandel - Aged in American oak, this medium-bodied Zinfandel has great fruit with overtones of spice & pepper.
